National Night Out Against Crime

We’re teaming up with the 25th Annual National Night Out, a unique safety and community event against crime, Tuesday, August 5, 2008. All Beyond Wine & Cheese Marketing member communities are invited to be part of our Electric Lemonade Crime Fighter Team.
We’ll join more than 11,000 communities across America in the symbolic lighting of porch lights at 8:00pm. Then, the special event we’ve come up with to get residents outdoors and mingling is a sidewalk lemonade stand.
Tracy Albright, our Beyond Wine & Cheese Experience Conductor, says, “The main goal with this event is to connect our clients with one another across the country, as well as the thousands of other communities participating on a national level.” She says sidewalk lemonade stands are easy to execute and fit any budget. Participating members can always pump up the magic by hosting police and fire departments, cookouts and street dances as well.
We’re excited to be able to say our Electric Lemonade advertising poster includes the National Night Out logo in a format customers can personalize. Members who download the poster are asked to register online at www.nno.org to have their participation counted in the national totals.
We look forward to catching up with members after the first Tuesday in August to hear their Electric Lemonade success stories.
