Seattle BizJam - Small Business Conference

The Beyond Wine & Cheese Marketing executive team spent two days in July at BizJam Seattle ‘08, a business conference of more than 30 educational Jam Sessions. We surrounded ourselves with experts and innovative leaders in the industries of social media, Web 2.0 marketing, and business strategy.

One of our favorite quotes of the event comes from speaker, Lisa Johnson author of Mind Your X’s and Y’s, when describing how to find the heat for any business:

“Explore the edges and experiment.” You can stand out from the middle by surveying the scene and asking, “Who’s doing it?” Then, find the higher-quality answers to what is broken, what is missing and who is underserved by the competitors out there?

Can we transform our industry’s pain points? Of course, we can.

BizJam reconfirmed our commitment to challenge our members to actively participate with Beyond Wine & Cheese Marketing as creators and community builders.
